Immigration Study

Fourth graders viewed immigration through a variety of media

In one class, students created New York City buildings that are representitive of the immigrant experience throughout the decades.
They also fashioned dolls that depict the varied immigrant groups that have flocked to America.

Performers from the Lincoln Center Schools Program recounted the African American experience through music and drama.
