The Big Dig The three kindergarten classes have created raised gardens on the patios adjacent to their classrooms. Under the direction of their teachers, Mrs.Lowry, and educators from the New York Botanical Gardens, kindergarten students are learning all aspects of gardening. After planning sessions and tool talks, the students, with the help of many parent volunteers,loaded soil into the raised beds and planted organic garlic and spring bulbs.
