Snowy day play !

First and second graders enjoyed the first big snow of the season by sleigh riding during physical education class.

Many in the second grade studied poetry and wrote their own poems. The topic -- SNOW!

Snowflakes Falling.

It's so beautiful on a snowy day
when the snowflakes
are falling down,
down,
down.
Until they land gently
on the ground.

I like to glow.
People say I am magical
when I am really not.
When I land on you
please oh please
do not breath on me!
If you do, I will melt
and then I will evaporate.
