Second grade poetry
For second graders, snowy days inspire good poetry, good sleigh riding and good cheer!
There is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.
John Ruskin
Freezing Cold
As snow falls from the sky,
I lie down and pretend to fly,
As my body starts to shake,
There lies down a snowflake.
Selen
Snowflake
Hi!
I like to glow.
People say I am magical
when I am really not.
When I land on you
please oh please
do not breath on me!
If you do, I will melt
and then I will evaporate.
Dante
Snowflakes Falling
It's so beautifull on a snowy day
when the snowflakes
are falling down,
down,
down.
Until they land gently
on the ground.
