EMS Explorations:
The Summer School of
The Elisabeth Morrow School
Age Three through Grade 6
June 28 - August 6, 2010

EMS Explorations, the summer program of The Elisabeth Morrow School, offers a unique blend of camp and school, with a wide variety of choices to stretch children's imagination, intellect and muscles. The 14-acre wooded campus is ideal for nature study, while three playgrounds, a large playing field, science labs and two computer labs provide just the right setting for learning and recreation. Students may enroll for morning classes (9am-12pm) or stay a full day (9am-3:30pm).

Three year olds through grade one children explore their world through games, movement, building, music, stories, sand and water play, drama and arts and crafts.

Students in grades two through six investigate special interests and activities or develop concepts and extend skills in mathematics, reading, writing, science, technology and more. These students choose two morning classes for each 3-week period. In the afternoon, students make daily choices which include sports, arts and crafts, technology, cooking, science and many other special activities. Tennis, ice-skating and weekly theme days are also highlights of the summer program.

EMS Explorations is staffed by members of The Elisabeth Morrow School faculty who are joined by other professionals and counselors. Please contact EMS Explorations for more information.
