Endowment funds add to the long-term financial strength of The Elisabeth Morrow School. These funds are perpetual. While the principal remains intact and growing, a portion of the yearly income is used to support the operating fund or an area designated by the donor. A named endowment fund may be established with a minimum gift of $100,000. The expansion of the Endowment is a School priority.
Character Education Endowment
This endowment provides for ongoing professional development as well as presentations in the area of character education. The integration of character education throughout our curriculum builds on the 4 C’s and strengthens our focus on building integrity in our community.
The Endowment for Faculty Compensation
This endowment for faculty compensation increases our ability to attract and retain highly qualified, dynamic teachers – the School's single biggest challenge. Experienced, well-trained teachers are at the heart of EMS.
The General Endowment Fund
This unrestricted fund allows EMS to be prepared to meet unexpected needs and innovative initiatives for learning as they arise. That flexibility is inherent to the financial well-being of the School.
