EMS Cares: The Schneiderman Family Launches Fundraiser

Andria and Fred Schneiderman, whose daughter, Chloe, is in sixth grade, launched a fundraiser to support the frontline healthcare workers at Hackensack Meridian Health.

“There had been no specific fund created just for them through our hospitals; now there is,” says Andria. “It has been a huge success, and we are still going strong.”

The fundraiser has raised more than $80,000. All money raised from their fundraising efforts will support Hackensack Meridian Health’s COVID-19 Response Fund and the critical needs of frontline team members at Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center.

Andria, who is on the Hackensack Meridian Health Board of Trustees, says she was inspired by the first responders, who are risking their lives, and the lives of their families during this unprecedented time.

“As our community faces this unprecedented challenge with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to come together and do our part,” says Andria. “We are excited to give back to the frontline health care workers who are doing so much every day in selflessly treating patients and providing them with exceptional care no matter what.”

EMS prepares students for an impressive range of top-tier secondary schools.

Our students cultivate the ability to learn, think, explore, empathize, and lead. They graduate with the ability, mindset, and competencies to navigate a global world and are well-prepared to face an unknowable future.

Accustomed to a challenging academic environment, EMS students welcome the demands of competitive secondary schools and are often placed in advanced sections where they perform very well.
