Thank you in advance for your support of The Elisabeth Morrow School.
Gifts may be made online using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. The process is secure and simple; just click Online Giving . Both pledge payments and/or outright contributions may be made in this way. Credit card donors can often take advantage of accumulating credit card rewards points. Please note that we can only process gifts from credit cards that have been issued in the U.S.
In Person, Phone, or Mail
Gifts of cash, checks, or with credit card made in person are always welcome. We are located in Little School and always enjoy a visit. Credit card donations may also be made by calling the Development Office at 201-568-5566, ext. 7225 with the relevant information. You may also send gifts through the mail to the Office of Development; 435 Lydecker Street, Englewood, NJ 07631.
Appreciated stocks can make excellent charitable gifts in that donors receive credit for the full market value on the day the gift is made and may save capital gains tax on donated assets held long term. (Instructions for Giving Stock)
Donors can double or even triple their gifts with a matching corporate gift. Many businesses match gifts made by employees and their spouses. Please ask your employer for a matching gift form, complete it and mail it to EMS with your donation.
EMS welcomes multi-year pledges to Endowment Funds. A payment schedule can be arranged to suit the donor’s individual circumstances.
Gifts that are part of an overall financial plan and benefit donors as well as The Elisabeth Morrow School are planned gifts. Since planned giving must be tailored to individual circumstances and goals, the development office is ready to work with you and your advisors to develop a strategy that benefits you and your family as well as the School. There are often gift vehicles that allow you to make a larger gift than you might have thought possible. Email Laura Heffron or call 201-568-5566, ext. 7223 for more information.
Endowment funds add to the long-term financial strength of The Elisabeth Morrow School. These funds are perpetual. While the principal remains intact and growing, a portion of the yearly income is used to support the operating fund or an area designated by the donor. A named endowment fund may be established with a minimum gift of $100,000. The expansion of the Endowment is a School priority.
