A SUCCESSFUL YEAR!
With the many uncertainties felt during the past 16 months, EMS developed an unparalleled pandemic response that allowed the school to safely deliver a full academic schedule to its students and provide experiences before and after classes that greatly contribute to the curriculum, including technology, the arts, and athletics and health.
During the 2020–2021 school year, we kept our campus safe and remained open full-time, five days a week from the beginning, while continuing our focus on the development and well-being of each of our students.
“When the pandemic began, we took nothing for granted, and we relied on research to make our student-centered decisions,” says Head of School Dr. Maureen Fonseca. “I’m incredibly proud of our community and how, together, we navigated boldly in the midst of uncharted waters.”
